Ed eccomi qui con la prima recensione del 2016!
E che lettura è stata, quella di Withering Hope di Layla Hagen *-* è stato bellissimo iniziare l'anno con un romanzo di questa portata! Sei stelle all'inizio dell'anno, sei stelle tutto l'anno ▬ si può fare? ;) questo libro si aggiudica immediatamente non solo un posto nei Best of the Year, ma anche nei miei Must Read, perché . . . oh, cavolo, non so spiegarlo. E' una storia che va vissuta, pagina dopo pagina, sorso dopo sorso, sfioramento dopo sfioramento . . .

Quando ho iniziato a leggere questo romanzo, non avevo la più pallida idea di cosa aspettarmi. Ricordavo vagamente la trama alla Sei giorni, sette notti, ma nulla di più. La mia amica e blogger Greta lo aveva già letto poco dopo l'uscita, se non sbaglio, ma non rammentavo la sua recensione, solo che le era piaciuto.
Così, dopo aver abbandonato il libro che stavo leggendo, mi sono avvicinata a Withering Hope tutta tranquilla e spensierata . . .
. . . ma avrei dovuto procurarmi almeno un dannatissimo paracadute, visto che sono letteralmente precipitata in questa storia.
