Perché oggi torniamo dall'ineguagliabile frontman Jake Wethers ♥ Per chi non lo sapesse, presto anche voi che non leggete in lingua potrete conoscerlo (purtroppo grazie alla Newton Compton, mi dispiace per voi e per il mio Jake T_T) Se non vado errato, questo romanzo è stato anche nella mia Top Ten, all'epoca :D awww, quanti ricordi!!! Sfortunatamente, non scrissi una recensione ufficiale per il blog con cui collaboravo in quel periodo, ma mi limitai a un commento da fangirl delirante ▬ o, per restare in tema, da groupie arrapata ahahahahahahahah Succede, non giudicate! :P Ladies, via i reggiseni per Jake Wetherssss ♥

Comincio immediatamente con un OH MY GOD *.* Voglio dire solo una cosa: Kellan Kyle, chi? Ma fatemi il piacere! Quel ragazzino non vale nemmeno l'alluce di Jake Wethers ;) Oh sì, donne, avete capito benissimo! La vera e assoluta rock star dei romanzi è Jake FIGHISSIMO Wethers ♥ Un uomo vero, che non appena rivede la sua migliore amica Trudy Bennet, a distanza di dodici anni, suo primo, grande e unico amore, decide di mandare al diavolo tutto e riportarla nella sua vita senza mezzi termini *.*
E Tru, oh mia cara... non è scientificamente possibile resistere al condottiero dei TMS (The Mighty Storm, la band). E poi, diciamoci la verità, come si fa a dimenticare il primo amore? Impossibile. 500 e passa pagine che mi hanno trascinata nel mondo di Jake e Tru - a volte mi ha anche fatto male la pancia, quando litigavano, perché quando questi due litigano, litigano di brutto, girls! Vogliamo parlare della scena nel bagno del locale, dopo il concerto, quando c'era anche Will?! (Will è il fidanzato di Tru, che lei tradisce con Jake) oh mio dioooooo, quanto mi si sono arricciate le dita dei piedi :P Romanzo un po' troppo lungo, per i miei gusti, ma il finale... mamma mia, quanto dolore! Ho avvertito la sofferenza di Jake come se fosse mia :( awww non vedo l'ora di leggere il secondo!

Samantha Towle began her first novel in 2008 while on maternity leave. She completed the manuscript five months later and hasn’t stopped writing since.
She is the author of The Mighty Storm, The Bringer and the Alexandra Jones series, all penned to tunes of The Killers, Kings of Leon, Adele, The Doors, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, and more of her favourite musicians.
A native of Hull and a graduate of Salford University, she lives with her husband, Craig, in East Yorkshire with their son and daughter.
